WAS SATAN EVER IN HEAVEN?
Can Angels Fall?

Revelation 12:7-9, is used by so many to teach that Satan was once in heaven. We will let the Word of God answer this question for us. If we read on down through verse 11, it puts an entirely different light on the above scriptures. We see this " red dragon" which was "called the Devil and Satan" was what was cast out (of heavenly places of religious worship).
We see in Revelation 12:3, that the dragon had 7 heads and 10 horns and 7 crowns on his 7 heads. In Revelation 13:1, we see where the beast that followed the dragon came up out of the sea. In Revelation 17:1-5, we see the woman dressed in scarlet with the word MYSTERY written on her forehead. When someone once told the POPE that in Revelation 17:5, for he had the Latin word MYSTERIUM on his crown, which means MYSTERY, he then took that crown off and put on a triple crown with the Latin insignia: V—l—C—A—R—I—U—S F—I—L—L—I D—E—I taking the Roman numerals from this gives 5-1-100-1-5-0- 0-1-50-1-1 500-0-1 totaling to equal 666, when added together, as he is marked in Rev. 13: 18. (Also see 2nd Thessalonians 2:3,4). This beast that followed the dragon also had 7 heads and 10 horns and we see in Revelation 17:9-12, that the 7 heads are 7 mountains, and the horns are kings. Rome is built on 7 mountains, The dragon would represent Pagan Rome, and we read in Revelation 13:2, that the dragon gave his seat, power, and authority to the beast that followed him which was Papal Rome. Paganism was the main form of worship at the time of Christ’s coming into the world, and during His ministry. It was in world power at that time. This top form of worship was called "IN HEAVEN". as Paul also mentioned later that we "SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS." Ephesians 1:3,20; 2:6; 3:10. The beast rising up out of the sea was not the literal sea, but from among the people (see Revelation 17:15).
Now we see by the foregoing scriptures that this dragon which was called "the Devil and Satan" was paganism, and also we see he was overcome by the BLOOD OF THE LAMB, and by the word of the testimony of the saints, who loved not their lives to the death.
Millions gave their lives for the gospel of Christ under Paganism, Papalism, and Protestantism. Paganism could well be called "the DEVIL and SATAN", for idol worship is instigated by Satan himself. I wish to ask this very important question, "WHERE WAS THE BLOOD OF CHRIST SHED? and WHERE DID THE MARTYRS GIVE THEIR LIVES FOR THE GOSPEL?" "WAS IT IN HEAVEN, OR WAS IT IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES OF WORSHIP?"
We read in Revelation 21:27, "and there shall in no wise ENTER INTO IT (heaven) anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: BUT they (ONLY) that are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life." So how could there ever be anything in heaven that would cause anyone to backslide? If Satan was there, and was kicked out as they teach, because of his rebellion, what would be your or my GUARANTEE of the same thing not happening to us? The angels that fell were no other than MINISTERS of the Gospel who BACKSLID (see Revelation 1:20; 2:1,8,12, and this is not refuted by 2nd Corinthians 11:14-15, nor Jude 6 and 2nd Peter 2:4 either.) Many use Isaiah 14:12 to) refer to Satan, being an angel of light who was cast out of heaven because of his pride, but if we read from Isaiah 14:4-18, we see this has reference to the king of Babylon (Nebuchadnezzar) who was one of the mightiest kings ever to sit on a throne, and because he would not humble his heart, he was cast out (Daniel, chapter 4) to graze with the cattle for 7 years, which was the greatest fall any king lived through. According to Revelation 14:3, NONE BUT THOSE WHO WERE REDEEMED could sing redemptions song, and according to this, and Hebrews 2:16, the angels evidently do not have a soul, so they could not fall neither be redeemed.
The dragon standing before the woman ready to devour her child as soon as it was born, was certainly fulfilled in Paganism standing ready to try, test, persecute and even murder anyone who stood true to Christ. (Born into God’s Church).
In John 8:44, we read, "The devil was a MURDERER from the BEGINNING, and a liar and the father of lies." Also I John 3:8, "He that committeth sin is of the devil, for the devil SINNETH from the BEGINNING."
Satan made his appearance in the garden of Eden in the beginning of time and has been on his job ever since that time, but he does not always go about as a roaring lion, often he comes as a wolf in SHEEP’S clothing.
