WHAT IS JUDGMENT
Judgment is the ability that the men of God have through the Holy Spirit to bring forth what Thus Saith The Lord.
This one thing we know that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2nd Tim 3:16-17.
As is mentioned in the previous scriptures, the men of God by the Holy Ghost of God will instruct the children of the Most High God in the way of righteousness.
Now, let we say this, Did not Jesus our Lord lay judgment? Yes, He did. He told the Pharisees and the Sadducees that they were hypocrites. (Luke 12:56, Luke 6:42, for examples) He told them these things to help them. It is like when a mother corrects her child. For instance, she would say: Son, your coat is dirty, you can't go out like that. After this good judgment, he will most likely change his coat in order to be ready to go where he had intended. Well, Jesus laid judgment to the Pharisees and the Sadducees in order that they could realize their lost conditions, that they would heed the warning and seek their salvation.
Then, He also warned His disciples of them. Beware, ye of the leaven of the Pharisees which is hypocrisy. Luke 12:1, for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. (12:2). Jesus did not cover up the condition of these people, but He exposed them for what they were. Today, the ministry of God is sending out a warning about the religious world today, of their doctrines, which is like the Sadducees, and Pharisees, they are leading the people astray. He told the Pharisees and the scribes in Matthew 23:23 that they were hypocrites for they paid their tithes, but they had omitted the JUDGMENT, mercy, and faith, and in verse 24, He calls them blind guides, then in Matthew 15:14, He said, if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
It is best for us to realize our condition now, seek Jesus and the redemption He offers for our sins rather than to face the final judgment with them. That is why the Word of God also requires us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, to live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Titus 2:12.
The minister of God (angel or messenger) will bring to your attention the condition of your life. Which is that you are living in sin and bound for hell unless you change and seek true Bible salvation. My friend, the religious world today is covering up the true judgments of God and are like the scribes and Pharisees, they are shutting up the kingdom of heaven against men, for they do not go in and they hinder others from going in. Matthew 23:13.
So the next time you hear a Church of God minister preaching against sin and living above sin (having victory over sin) you ought to be thankful for their trueness to your soul, and holding up the standards of God up high. Also, give thanks to God that you have found the true Church of the Living God, the one brother Isaiah spoke about in his book (1:26,27).
"And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counselors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, the city of righteousness, the faithful city. Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness."
These judges and counselors are the true ministers of God, prepared, ordained and sent by God through the Holy Spirit, to feed THE CHURCH OF GOD and instruct them in the righteousness, statutes and judgments of God. That the true people of God may be differentiated from the unbelievers. What keeps the church spotless and clean is the obedience of the Saints to the Word of God brought forth by the ministers of God, and sets an example for the new converts (babes in Christ)
In the book of Judges 4:4,5, we see how the prophetess Deborah judged Israel, and the people came to her for judgment, so it is today, when we can go to our pastor (a Church of God pastor) for judgment, good counseling in the righteousness of God.
Friend, we sincerely invite you to go where the truth is preached. You ask, WHY? Because you may know some truth, but, Do you live it? Do the people you go to worship with, live it? Does your Pastor live it?
Well, in the Church of God, it is preached and lived by saints and pastors alike, because, Jesus said in 2nd Corinthians 12:9. .. My grace is sufficient for thee.. . and He makes it possible by His grace that we can live out this gospel, and you can, too, if you so purpose in your heart.
If you will not heed the calling, you will be found on the side of the transgressors and sinners and shall be consumed because you have forsaken the judgments of God. Isaiah 1:28.
It Is like Sodom Gomorra in the days of Abraham and Lot. They were taken in their own ways, that when the messengers of God came to the city, they even tried to defile them, and would not heed the warning; and so God destroyed them, except for Lot and his family. They would have been saved had they repented, but carnality reigned in then Genesis 18:9-33; 19:1-25. Romans 1:26,27, 2nd Peter 2:6.10.
Dear one today, there is a people of God that are pleading to God for your soul, heed his call, Come to God and be part of His Church of which Salvation makes you a member (Acts 2:47). God keeps the Book, and the Headquarters is in Heaven. PRAISE GOD !!!
