SIN vs HOLINESS
BOTH ARE REAL
No one need to argue against the fact that SIN IS REAL. The evidence is so clear before the whole world today, that a cruel force is at work day and night, twenty four hours a day, three hundred sixty five days a year, and with no let up nor vacation from its deadly forces against all that is right and pure, and God-ward and heavenly. Sin is the product of a disobedient act against God, the Creator of man, heaven and earth. Sin was enacted through the lust of the flesh. Genesis 3: is the sad story of a fallen race. Eve the weaker vessel, of the first pair God created and made, met an evil spirit one day, and made a grave mistake by humanly reasoning with this destructive power. This devilish spirit told her God was unreasonable by denying her to eat of one tree’s fruit. As she listened to this deceptive rascal (note) Eve LOOKED at that forbidden fruit, and saw it GOOD FOR FOOD (LUST OF THE FLESH) pleasant to the eyes (LUST OF THE EYE) desirous to make one wise (PRIDE OF LIFE). Listen to James 1: 13-15, “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for HE CANNOT be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man, BUT, every man (woman too) is tempted when he is drawn away of HIS OWN LUSTS, and ENTICED (by the flesh) THEN WHEN LUST HAS CONCEIVED IT BRINGETH FORTH SIN: and finished sin (the act) bringeth forth death” BEWARE OF THE LUSTS OF THE FLESH, for THIS THING wareth against the SPIRIT. Paul says, “IF YE LIVE AFTER THE FLESH (its lustful appetite) ye shall die.” (eternally to God).
Sin is the most deceptive thing or principle that man ever met with. It is a direct effect of disobedience to God’s command. When we feed this ungodly principle and let it rule our life, and reject God’s love and goodness, we can expect only heartaches, troubles, and fears, and be without the security and care of the God who waits to forgive us, and make us free from sin’s power. If we will repent in Godly sorrow for having fed the lusts of sinful life, and brought God’s frown down upon us, and left us in our own hands and Satan's. You say, God is love; He wouldn’t do that. Yes, He has already done this. God is Holy, and will not tolerate SIN. HE IS NO FREE LOVER as many tell you to day in our modern pulpits. But do not forget that men are still LIARS, as David found them in his day, Psalms 116: 11. Romans 11: 22 says, “BEHOLD THE GOODNESS AND SEVERITY of God.” Yes, indeed we declare that God is SEVERE also GOOD; sin He hates, holiness He loves. Sin is in opposition of Holiness, or salvation FROM ALL sin. Oh yes, they tell you that we MUST LIVE WITH SIN til death. I want you to KNOW that death is no CURE for sin, and there is no chance after death. Get your sins and SIN under the BLOOD TODAY. Jesus said, “...the devil sinneth from the beginning,” and 1st John 1: 2 says, “...I write unto YOU...that ye SIN NOT.” It is sad to know that preachers (?) teach a sinning religion. Well take it from God, it is only religion, NOT SALVATION. Jesus has an experience of salvation for every one who will pay the price He sets on it. 1st John 3:7, “Little children, LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU: He that committeth SIN is of the devil; FOR THIS PURPOSE THE SON OF GOD was manifested TO DESTROY the WORKS OF THE DEVIL.” What is this? SIN. How can ANY PREACHER FACE GOD AT THE JUDGMENT and expect to go to heaven, Hebrews 12: 14 tells us this, “WITHOUT HOLINESS, NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD.” Then read Jeremiah 44: 28, and see what God says of His words. Isaiah 40: 8 says it will stand FOREVER. Psalms 119 tells us, “His Word is FOREVER settled IN HEAVEN.” Man can never change it. Jesus and the Apostles of the church so often said LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU BY ANY MEANS. Let me warn you, they are on every corner, compassing land and sea to get followers, and are trafficking in the SOULS OF MEN. Revelation 18: 11, 14; also Revelation 16, speaks of false religions of which every soul died in the sea (fleshly religions).
God has a plan of salvation FROM SIN but it will cost you ALL to obtain it, yet Jesus paid it all for us; but He said, “Except ye forsake ALL...ye cannot be MY DISCIPLE. I came not to bring peace (with all kinds) BUT DIVISION,” not among Gods church or His kingdom, but a clean SEPARATION from all ungodly people in spirit and association and practice. A separated people unto God. What is it that separates? Sin cannot tolerate Holiness (and vice versa). Holiness will never flirt with sin; one is of God, the other of the devil. Will you not STOP! LOOK! LISTEN! and let God speak to your heart? Then OBEY His voice. Repent of sins and live a Holy Life or sin will be your ruin.
